Jessica Minh Anh: A vision of purity and hope at Franck Sorbier’s Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture show.
In the midst of Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture, supermodel and esteemed catwalk producer Jessica Minh Anh was chosen to close the remarkable Franck Sorbier show. The exotic beauty captivated the audience with her ethereal presence. Adorned in a pristine white ensemble, she evoked the innocence of a porcelain doll while sharing the runway with a majestic white horse. Her attire, a masterful blend of delicate tulle and intricate lace, paired with avant-garde wooden footwear, accentuated her youthful grace.
The collection “Nuages”, a tribute to the unbounded spirit of the clouds, featured structured silhouettes predominantly in shades of grey and black. However, it was Jessica's angelic white attire that stood as a beacon of light and purity amidst the somber palette, embodying the collection's theme of hope and renewal.
Franck Sorbier himself extolled Jessica's unique blend of intellectual depth and sartorial elegance, recognizing her as a force that transcends traditional boundaries within the fashion industry.
Franck collaborated with the Parisian Luxury shoe brand Trippen to create one of a kind platform wallabee style shoes, white with subtle stud detailing. To complete the vision it was styled with white tights, creating a harmonious symphony of sophistication and grace.
A cherished ally of Franck Sorbier, Jessica has graced the front rows of Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture for over ten years, celebrating the designer's creative genius. "Experiencing Franck's artistic journey from such proximity, especially as his muse, has deepened my admiration for his unparalleled contribution to French haute couture. His creations are not just garments but pieces of art that embody the rich tapestry of French heritage and craftsmanship” Jessica remarked.
Behind the scenes, Jessica's charm shone through as she mingled with the creative team, before assuming her role as the vedette of the show.
The skilful glam squad transformed her into part of Sorbier's vision. The team consisted of exceptional expertise with hairstylists like Alexandre de Paris and make up artists led by Anne Arnold. Their artistry sculpted a style which featured a high voluminous bun and a elegant winged eye look. The result complemented the imaginative inspiration of the collection.
Earlier in the year, Jessica donned another of Sorbier's extraordinary creations at the Mandarin Oriental Paris. There, she transformed into a sylphlike figure, her silhouette set against a backdrop of opulent white roses.
Jessica Minh Anh's journey as a pioneering catwalk producer and her transformative ability as a model reflect her vision for an innovative and sustainable creative industry. Her portrayal of each character is not merely a display of fashion but a narrative that brings the designer's vision to life.
Until next time!
