Last week at New York University (NYU), students expecting a conventional lecture got anything but. Instead, they were immersed in a masterclass on disruptive branding, tech-driven solutions, and sustainability as a business strategy—led by Jessica Minh Anh, the trailblazing producer behind the world’s most iconic fashion shows and high-impact sustainability projects atop landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, London’s Tower Bridge, PETRONAS Twin Towers’ Skybridge, Hoover Dam, and Grand Canyon Skywalk.

Renowned for highlighting sustainability by turning JFK Airport (U.S.), Gemasolar power plant (Spain), Costa Toscana LNG-powered ship (Italy) into gravity-defying catwalks, Jessica’s real-world expertise in visual storytelling provided students with a blueprint for success in today’s hyper-connected, tech-driven business world.

“Technology doesn’t just change industries. It multiplies meaning,” Jessica told NYU’s Master’s students. “When we pair it with bold storytelling and sustainable innovation, we redefine what brands stand for — and how they lead.”

AN EDUCATION IN IMPACT
Jessica’s lecture explored:
Disruptive branding principles used by companies like Apple, Tesla, and Airbnb
Immersive marketing strategies with AR/VR, personalization, and blockchain transparency
AI-driven design and humanoid robotics as brand extensions
And the use of sustainability as a growth engine, not a cost center
She illustrated these ideas through global case studies:
Runway on the Runway’ at JFK Airport on the opening day of New York Fashion Week with DHL Express, highlighting the global sustainable supply chain.
The world’s first solar-powered catwalk at Gemasolar Power Plant (Spain)
The world’s first sustainable ocean catwalk aboard Costa Toscana LNG-powered ship

“Jessica is a pioneer who bridges fashion, tech, and sustainability,” said Maria Steve, a Master’s student at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. “Her ability to connect across disciplines and inspire real-world change is extraordinary.”
Another student, Dheeraj Maske, added: “She gave us practical strategies to build brands that matter — and showed us how to lead with creativity and conviction.”

A NEW KIND OF ROLE MODEL
Jessica’s presence at NYU reflects a global shift in what leadership looks like. No stunts, no scandals — just cross-industry impact. From high fashion to hydrogen power, she’s helping shape a generation of purpose-driven disruptors.

The session concluded with a live Q&A and a creative challenge: students were asked to design their own tech-integrated, sustainability-focused runway, based on the branding frameworks Jessica built over the past 15 years.

Jessica Minh Anh’s appearance at the renowned New York University marks another milestone in her global mission to revolutionize branding with sustainability. As she continues to break barriers and set new industry standards, her influence extends beyond fashion and event production —now making a lasting impact in the education sector worldwide.
